Downtown Cleveland Residential Population Exceeds 13,000

Downtown
Cleveland Alliance (DCA) released its Downtown Cleveland Market
Update for the third quarter of 2014. This quarterly update
provides an in-depth look at downtown Cleveland’s business
development through major investments, as well as its office,
housing, retail, hospitality and transportation markets

The Q3 quarterly market update from DCA
finds that downtown Cleveland’s residential population has
reached 13,000 people, while maintaining over 95 percent occupancy
among market rate apartments. DCA projects this population will
grow to nearly 18,000 by the end of 2017, 23,000 by the end of 2020
and to 25,000 by the end of 2022.
